Team Blue takes the Inaugural Calise Ryder Cup
What a great weekend for the first ever FAST Calise Ryder Cup Invitational. We had a strong field of 24 players, 12 for Team Blue and 12 for Team Red. Day 1 was Team Red vs Team Blue 12 matches - Team Red won Day 1 Team Match Play with a Team Ryder Cup Score of RED 4 to BLUE 2. All Team Red Players get 15 Points for their 1 Day WIN.

For Ryder Cup Day 2 Single Mano vs Mano at Mystic (Dooms) Dunes. Team Blue showed up early and excited for the Mano y Mano Competition. We lost two Team Red Players on Day 2, so Team Blue got 1/2 point for Team Red's failure to show. Unfortunately, the Professor also suffered an injury and had to be placed on injured reserve; we hope that the Professor will be back with us soon. We had a smooth start on Day 2, and The Commish and Cheese took the 1/2 point and decided to play a Blue v Blue match for a $15 side bet, which turned out to be another intense match. Every match was extremely close, most of them coming down to the 18th hole, but in the end, Team BLUE dominated Day 2, winning 80% of the matches to win by a huge margin of 8 to 3. The placements were as follows: All Members of Team Blue will get 15 points for the WIN if you complete your match.

Overall, everyone had a great time at this inaugural Calise Ryder Cup event, and discussions have begun to make this an annual event. Thanks to all that participated to make this an enjoyable and competitive event. Congrats to Calise and Team Red for putting up a valiant fight. Also thanks to Jamie and his wife for hosting us Saturday Night Karaoke. We all learned that not only does SongBird has Pipes in the Group, but so does Dr.LastMinute and KingRozzi, can both belt a tune. See you all next week for another regular FAST event.
