Q1 Week 2, 2025 at the Buffalo did not turn out like we expected. We all showed up at the course this morning thinking this is 2025 and we were going to take down the Buffalo with at least 4 sub 80s rounds but the Buffalo was having none of that. The course kicked our asses back to Tampa except for Bonez who man-handled the Buffalo by shooting a 75 to become a member of the Buffalo Soldiers. What a day and what a Game. It was tight all day and at one point we had a 3-way tie for first place between TL, SongBird and Dr. D going into 13, Herbie and Bonez were also in the hunt just one stroke back. SongBird started leaking oil on 16, 17 & 18 and TL left tire started to going flat on 15 with a double. Herbie finished strong with a 39 on the back to tie Dr. D which led to a sudden death playoff on hole #1 and Dr. D nailed his par vs Herbie +2 to take his first Win since his shoulder injury 6 months ago. Dr. D is back Bitches, watch out.

Over all it was a great day on the links – The competition was fierce with the lead changing many times during the round but in the end the Course kicked our asses except for Dr. D and Bonez. Everyone had a fantastic time however we will have a rematch with Da Buffalo to get our revenge in Q1. Next week will be another Sunday match at the Cypress Creek at 11:00 am – See you all there.

The first Team Random Draw Game of 2025 turned out to be an amazing Day on the Links. We had our first Teams Meeting Random Draw from the Bar at Outback which had a few hitches however, it turned out to be a smart move and a lot of fun. The morning was a bit nippily however it turned out to be a beautiful day. Team “CommisStar” (Commish & DeathStar) predicted after the random draw they were the team to beat and ScoringEagle also called it Friday night.  Team CommisStar showed up with matching colors and matching hats and came to play. DeathStar won both the individual game and team game by shooting a NET 70 and Commish shooting a NET 71.

Overall the competition today was fantastic, DeathStar came to play and racked up some points. KingRozzi was back from a long time away. The team games are fun but take more prep time so we will have 1 at the beginning of every quarter (4 times per year). Next week will be back at Buffalo Creek on SUNDAY Jan 12th for $50. Looking forward to seeing you all next week Sunday at the Buffalo.

What a day for the FAST 2024 Finals at the Club at Eaglebrooke. The day started out overcast with a little drizzle, cleared up nicely for our Finals. The course was in excellent shape and the competition started out with some tight scores through the first nine holes. DeathStar, Scoring Eagle and Storming Norman all within one stroke after nine holes. DeathStar started leaking oil after the turn and Storming Norman jumped into the lead by 2 strokes after hole 13 and he did not look back. Going into the 2nd gauntlet Stormin Norman was up by 4 strokes with ScoringEagle and Krash trying to make a move. Stroming Norman was able to hold off the competition to take his 2nd win with a 79/69

Overall, Storming Norman had an excellent round with a 79/69 to WIN the Q4 Week 13 Belt. 

The Big Winner of the Quarter was DaBeast, who had back-to-back WINS in Q4 to also WIN Player of the Quarter Q4/2024. Tomorrow I will add up all the points for the Year and the number of WINS for the Year and confirm the Player of the Year 2024. An official announcement will be made in the AM. I believe I know who that person is, however, will run the numbers to ensure the data supports my suspicions. Well played today fellas.

What a Great Day at the FAST PNC Semi-Final Tournament at Summerfield. We had a great turnout even though we had several not able to join because of the flu going around. It was a tight game all day. Krash, ScoringEagle and DeathStar were neck and neck all day. Calise and Rocketman were also making a charge at the turn. After 17 holes,  ScoringEagle and DeathStar were at -4 & -3 respectively and Big Sexy and Commish3D were right behind at -2. In the end ScoringEagle was able to hang on for his first WIN with a NET 76/67

Overall, it was an awesome day. CheeseHead finally got his Jello Shots which cost him about $60 but were worth every penny LOL. ScoringEagle as able to fend off BigSexy, Commish3D and DeathStar to win his first belt. Now he doesn’t have to hear “you are the best player that has never WON the Belt” anymore lol

The Grand FINALE for Q4 2024 is next week at EagleBrooke at 1:00pm but we need to move that time up to ensure everyone can finish. See you all next week for another great Finish to a FAST Year.
